East Midlands Landlord Accreditation Scheme (EMLAS)
Charnwood Borough Council has signed up to The East Midlands Landlord Accreditation scheme. It is a new region-wide accreditation scheme that encourages and rewards good property standards and management practice in the private rented sector.
Any residential landlord in the region can join the scheme and enjoy not only the market advantage, but also briefing sessions on new legislation, resource materials and guidance, professional development courses and inclusion on the EMLAS property database.
Free advertising for Accredited Landlords
Charnwood Borough Council are offering all landlords who sign up to the EMLAS Scheme the opportunity to advertise their properties to let in Charnwood free of charge. There are no limits on the number of adverts you can place and you can re-advertise the same house again and again until it ihas been let. To take advantage of this offer all you need to do is register your details on landlord services. Once you have received your log in details you will be able to add and edit your own property adverts.
