A free tenant finder service for landlords....
The Tenant Finder Service was introduced by Charnwood Borough Council in April 2008 and to date, has successfully housed more than 80 families (figures correct at March 2010). The aim of the scheme is to provide a sustainable and settled future for families in housing need.
If you own a property within the Borough of Charnwood and are considering letting the property, our Tenant Finder Service could help!
Our service aims to simplify what can be a stressful experience. Tenant Finder will assist you through the whole of the letting process, from introducing you to a prospective tenant to signing the tenancy agreement.

- First months rent paid in advance
- Ongoing landlord support for the duration of the tenancy
The conditions of the Tenant finder Service:
- Proof of property ownership
- Property must meet the decent homes standard (as updated to reflect the Housing Health And Safety Rating System)
- Initial tenancy period must be a minimum of 12 months
- Must be willing to accept housing benefit recipients
- Valid 12 month gas safety certificate
- Valid NICEIC (or equivalent) electricity certificate
- Valid Energy Performance Certificate (find an EPC assessor)

Landlords who have registered with our site can use the Property Registration Form to post new properties for inclusion in the listing.
